Hiscox's Encourage Courage campaign moves forward with event sponsorship and docuseries
Tough Mudder event sponsorship and Courageous Leaders docuseries push US businesses to live courageously
NEW YORK (June 1, 2015) – Hiscox, the global specialist insurer, is introducing two major new initiatives as part of its Encourage Courage brand platform aimed at US businesses. Today, Hiscox released its new original digital docuseries, Courageous Leaders, exclusively across Vox Media’s seven brands including Vox.com, The Verge, Curbed and SB Nation. Hiscox also today announced its sponsorship with mass-participation series Tough Mudder including industry specific promotions and a presence across all of Tough Mudder’s US events.
Courageous Leaders is a series of candid conversations with successful entrepreneurs including Foursquare Co-founder/CEO Dennis Crowley, Thrillist Co-founder/CEO Ben Lerer and Interior Designer/TV Personality Ross Cassidy, about how they found their courage and embraced risk to succeed in life and business. All six episodes are now available here . Hiscox's previous original series, the award-winning scripted comedy Leap Year, received over 10 million views across two seasons. Courageous Leaders was produced for Hiscox in collaboration with Prosek Partners' UNboxd, Iris Mediaworks and Vox Creative and is hosted by Hartley Sawyer.
Hiscox’s sponsorship of Tough Mudder, a series of obstacle course challenges focused on strength, stamina, mental grit, team-work and camaraderie, includes industry specific promotions and Hiscox Encourage Courage branding at all US events through the end of 2015. The Hiscox Courage Zone will be in place for 22 Tough Mudder obstacle challenges throughout the U.S., including New York City’s inaugural Urban Mudder, to physically bring to life the Hiscox commitment to encourage courage in all of its forms, as well as offer participants and spectators an opportunity to win a “courageous adventure.”
“Courage is an essential ingredient to success. Small business owners are faced with risks and challenges every day.
