BMA:FWD Announces Get+Together Event For Extraordinary Young Marketing Leaders
Registration is now open for B2B Industry Event featuring executives from General Assembly, Blockchain and inMarket
NEW YORK, NY May 3, 2016 — BMA:FWD, the young professional’s arm of the Business Marketing Association (BMA) New York chapter, today announced the launch of a signature event, Get+Together. The event will feature an inspiring panel of business and marketing leaders under 40 who are shaping the future of business marketing, including executives from IBM, General Assembly, inMarket, and Blockchain. Get+Together will be held on May 19 at 5:30 p.m. at The Wall Street Journal’s office in Manhattan. Registration is currently open and available here.
The complete list of panelists will include:
- Liana M. Douillet Guzmán, VP of Marketing and Communications at Blockchain, the Bitcoin platform that promises to power an open financial future. Guzmán is an innovator in finance and philanthropy. She was named one of Observer’s top 20 Philanthropists under 40 for her work as co-founder of The Pink Agenda, a breast cancer research and care not-for-profit that believes that engaging today’s generation can go a long way to finding tomorrow’s cure.
- Scott Kirkpatrick, President and COO of General Assembly, a global educational company whose mission is to empower a worldwide community to acquire in-demand skills across data, design, business and technology. He is a United States Coast Guard officer and served as a ship navigator and an aide to the President of the United States.
- Dave Heinzinge, Senior Director of Communications at inMarket, the world's largest beacon proximity and location intelligence company. He was recognized as a 2014 PR News Rising Star for his successful public relations efforts at inMarket. Since he arrived there, the company has tripled its sales staff and opened a new office to handle the increased demand.
The event will be moderated by Sharon Driscoll, CMO of Global Client Segments at IBM. “This will be an ideal event for those that consider themselves among the next generation of marketing and business leaders,” said Driscoll. “During the panel discussion, we will discuss how these three leaders have achieved extraordinary success early in their careers.”
