Hiscox appoints Vanessa Zhang as Chief Accounting Officer in the US

Atlanta, GA – April 29, 2024 – Hiscox, the specialist global insurer, has announced the promotion of Vanessa Zhang to Chief Accounting Officer. Zhang is based out of Atlanta and will continue to report to Jerry Cox, Chief Financial Officer of Hiscox USA.

In this role, Zhang will lead all aspects of Hiscox USA’s Accounting, Statutory Reporting, and Tax functions. Zhang joined Hiscox as Senior Statutory Reporting Manager in 2019 before being promoted to VP, Financial Planning & Analysis in 2021. Prior to Hiscox, Zhang held senior accounting roles with Munich Re. Zhang earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Xiamen University in China and her Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas.
