Hiscox Appoints Jerry Cox as US Chief Financial Officer

Atlanta, GA – November 18, 2021 – Hiscox, the international specialist insurer, today announced the appointment of Jerry Cox as Chief Financial Officer in the US. Joining from the Hartford, Cox previously served as a divisional CFO across multiple business areas, including commercial, specialty, corporate functions, technology, operations, and claims. Cox will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, and report to Kevin Kerridge, Chief Executive Officer in the US.

Prior to joining Hiscox, Cox spent over two decades at the Hartford in a variety of roles with growing responsibility, leading large teams of finance professionals in the process. During his 22-year year tenure, Cox developed a wealth of experience in numerous leadership roles across product management, operations, distribution and marketing. Cox is a graduate of Bucknell University, earned his MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business, and completed General Electric's Management Development Program.
