Financial options for Hiscox California policyholders affected by wildfires

The state of California issued a notice on August 26, 2020 directing all property and casualty insurance companies doing business in California to support wildfire survivors in order to facilitate the state’s recovery and rebuilding process.

In response to this mandate, Hiscox will not process notice of cancellations for California policyholders between August 18, 2020 and October 26, 2020. Additionally, any past due premiums between August 18, 2020 and October 25, 2020 can be repaid by October 26, 2020 without penalty, interest, or policy cancellation.
