We are continuing to closely monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation across all of our operating regions. Providing support to our customers while safeguarding the wellbeing of our employees and partners is our priority. While our team continues to work remotely to protect against the spread of the coronavirus, we remain ready to service your business via the usual methods of phone and email.
We recognize these are unsettling times and that you may have questions about your coverage. We are working closely with our partners, agents and policyholders to answer any questions about coverage, recognizing that coverage is evaluated on case-by-case basis and is based on the facts, circumstances, law and policy language of each individual policy.

In recognition of the impact this time is having on our policyholders and to ensure that our policyholders continued to have coverage during this challenging time, Hiscox voluntary extended time to make any outstanding premium payments until June 1, 2020.
Hiscox is also complying with all state requirements that mandate grace periods beyond June 1, 2020. States with these mandates include: California, DC, Hawaii, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Tennessee. If you are a resident of these states, please be assured that Hiscox is following all of the state requirements with regard to the grace periods required by your state.
Additional State-Specific Options
In addition to grace periods for payment of premiums, some state insurance authorities, including those of New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia have mandated additional payment options for residents of their states. Hiscox will of course honor those mandates.

If you have active Hiscox policyholders from DC, NJ, or NY, you have a fiduciary responsibility to communicate state-specific requirements to your clients.
