Inspire Trustworthiness

February 2, 2012

Part 3 of 8 – Guy Kawasaki small business advice series; you have to trust others before they trust you.

In the third part of the series, Guy shares the three points to trustworthiness and explains the difference between liking somebody and trusting them.

Small business owners must understand the sequence of events that happens with trust – you have to trust others before they will trust you.

Guy also explains why you should “default to yes.” You should always be thinking, how can I help this person? Have it in your mind that no matter what they ask, you will try to help them. This makes for a very trustworthy relationship.

At Hiscox, we build trusting relationships with our clients. We recognize the difficulties that small business owners face when finding the right small business insurance and offer resources to help small business owners make educated decisions. With Hiscox, small business owners have the ability to buy professional liability insurance (errors and omissions insurance), general liability insurance and business owner insurance  direct and online or over the phone with one of our licensed advisors.
