Customers: a promise to pay

We design our insurance for the changing needs of our customers, whether they are individuals, entrepreneurial businesses, or multinational businesses, and the way they live and work.

For us, insurance is a promise to pay when a loss occurs and we base our claims handling on fairness and common sense. We also advise our customers on risk management and ways to avoid loss, for example how to prevent a burglary or a fire.

To do this we report our half-year and full-year results through presentations, and keep the investor section of our website comprehensive, accessible and current. We also arrange for senior management to meet investors and analysts regularly.
