Hamilton, Bermuda (15 June, 2010) – International specialist insurer Hiscox has appointed Krystalle Tobin as Chief Financial Officer for its Bermuda business.
Having been with Hiscox Bermuda since 2006 as Financial Controller and Treasurer, Krystalle Tobin brings extensive experience of the insurance sector. Formerly a VP, Controller at Inter-Ocean Reinsurance Co Ltd for five years, she also worked as a VP at Becher + Carlson Management (now Beecher Carlson) from 1998-2000.
Reporting to Hiscox Bermuda’s CEO, Charles Dupplin, and based in Hiscox’s Bermuda office in Hamilton, Tobin is a chartered accountant and chartered financial analyst.
Commenting on the appointment, Charles Dupplin said: “I am delighted to be announcing Krystalle Tobin’s well deserved promotion to CFO at Hiscox Bermuda. She has already proven herself in her role as financial controller and treasurer and her considerable expertise in the insurance and reinsurance arena will be a great asset to us as she takes on the responsibilities of CFO.”
