As a leading provider of insurance to small businesses, we’re proud to release the findings of our 8th annual DNA of an Entrepreneur study. This year’s findings reveal that U.S. small business owners report growth in revenue (70%), profit (68%) and new customers (73%), despite obstacles in areas such as funding and government policies. The study, which encompasses data from more than 1,000 U.S. business owners, yields some surprising insights into what’s top of mind for American entrepreneurs:
- They’re feeling bullish: 23% of small business owners are looking to hire in the year ahead
- Our political landscape isn’t working for them: 31% say political instability is impacting their businesses.
- They’re not all in it for the money: Only 37% cite the opportunity to make money as a top benefit of entrepreneurship.
We encourage you to check out our full study to find out what’s truly in the DNA of American entrepreneurs.
